Zoom Phone

When you make a 911 call from any phone in the United States, various mechanisms automatically determine your physical location. That location is used to send your call to the appropriate local 911 dispatch service, and is transmitted to that service to facilitate sending first responders to you.
This document details the tasks that need to be completed on the day you transition to Zoom Phone.
General Introduction When your phone number is transitioned to the new phone service, the corresponding desk phone (if you have one) will either have no service or very limited service. VoIP phones, for example, may still have a dial tone and be able to place 911 calls, but otherwise have limited functionality. It’s important to physically remove deactivated phones at the time of transition.
