You must be located on a U-M network or connected to U-M VPN to access the MiServer jump server on RDP protocol. In addition, you must use a MiServer jump account that has been registered to UM Duo in order to connect to the jump server.
In order to connect to the MiServer jump server to access vCenter to administer your virtual machines, you must have a miserver-uniqname account.Access to vCenter is not required in order to access your VMs, but here are some common reasons to request access:Managing VM snapshotsVM power operationsViewing performance or event dataVM console accessTo request access, please follow these steps:
Admin GroupThe Admin Group is a group of people that have the ability to edit server configurations (add or remove Ram/CPU/Disk). Admin Groups are maintained in MCommunity. It is suggested to use a group that has a minimal number of members. For Managed Operating Systems, the members of this group will have login rights to the server.
