Screen Sharing

ITS has implemented wireless screen sharing technology in some campus conference rooms. This technology lets you display from a device to a conference room screen without the use of cables, connectors, or adaptors. Where this technology is in place, information about using wireless screen sharing is displayed when the room's LCD screen or projector is turned on.
Note: If you have difficulty connecting with these directions, see connecting using the Google Chrome Browser.
Connection Steps Go to Settings and choose WiFi or Wireless & Networks. Select the network for your conference room (for example: asb-2015). The network name and password will be shown on the display screen in the room. It may take a few seconds for the network to appear in the list.  Enter the password for the WiFi network and touch the Connect button. Connect to the display:
Apple laptops use Apple’s AirPlay technology for wireless screen sharing. AirPlay is available on most Apple laptops made since mid-2011, and on OSX 10.8 (Mountain Lion) or later.
iOS uses Apple’s AirPlay technology for wireless screen sharing. AirPlay is supported on iOS 5 and higher.
Connection Steps Use the WiFi setup features of your device to connect to the special WiFi network available in your conference room. The network name and password will be shown on the display screen and on printed signage in the room. It may take a few seconds for the network to appear in the list.  NOTE: If multiple wireless networks for the same room appear, remove those networks and start again (room passwords may have changed):
