Screen Sharing

ITS has implemented wireless screen sharing technology in some campus conference rooms. This technology lets you display from a device to a conference room screen without the use of cables, connectors, or adaptors. Where this technology is in place, information about using wireless screen sharing is displayed when the room's LCD screen or projector is turned on.
Connection Steps Click the WiFi icon in the notification area on your computer and select the network for your conference room (for example: asb-2015). The network name and password will be shown on the display screen in the room. It may take a few seconds for the network to appear in the list. Deselect the “Connect automatically” checkbox and click Connect.
Apple laptops use Apple’s AirPlay technology for wireless screen sharing. AirPlay is available on most Apple laptops made since mid-2011, and on OSX 10.8 (Mountain Lion) or later.
iOS uses Apple’s AirPlay technology for wireless screen sharing. AirPlay is supported on iOS 5 and higher.
