Pantheon

As of July 9, 2025, new Drupal sites on U-M Pantheon are initialized with OpenID Connect (OIDC) enabled by default.  Additionally, the “umichoidc” (wwsauth) module is enabled and configured as well.  However, you will need to complete the configuration process in order to use MCommunity groups to manage authorization (authz) for your site.
ITS strongly recommends that university websites hosted on Pantheon have Autopilot enabled and configured to run at least once per week. For details, see Introduction to Autopilot. Website owners can decide whether to have Autopilot deploy successful changes to the Dev environment (which they can then review and deploy to the Live environment) or directly to the Live environment.
