Proposal Management: Manage Non Key Investigators

Overview

The Manage Non Key Investigators activity allows the PI/Project Team and Approvers in the Administrative Home chain to add, edit, or inactivate the Award set of Non Key Investigators. An email notification will be sent to Award editors (PI, U-M Sponsor PI, Post Award Contact, and any other administrative personnel) upon completion of this activity.

Note The Manage Non Key Investigators activity is not available when an Award Modification is in progress.

Navigation

Role: PI & Project Team > Award workspace > Manage Non Key Investigators activity

Step-by-Step Process

Add Non Key Investigators:

  1. Click Manage Non Key Investigators.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Complete required/applicable fields.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Click OK to save your changes.

Update an Existing Non Key Investigator:

  1. Click Manage Non Key Investigators.
  2. Click Update.
  3. Update applicable fields.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Click OK to save your changes.

Add an Appointment:

  1. Click Manage Non Key Investigators.
  2. Click Add Appointment.
  3. Update applicable fields.
    Note Click Add to AwardRemove, or enter to Add Future Appointments.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Click OK to save your changes.
