Overview This document provides information about the MCommunityUidNumber endpoint that is a part of the MCommunity API. In Unix/Linux systems, a uid number serves as a unique identifier for a user account. The MCommunityUidNumber endpoint can be used to reserve uid numbers in a way that avoids overlap with ones assigned by the ITS MCommunity team and others.
