1.1 Project Title

Change the default value in the Project Title field to match your proposal title.

• The Project Title temporarily defaults to [Your Name New PAF Day/Date/Time]

If your proposal title is more than 256 characters:

• Abbreviate the title in the Project Title field, and
• Capture the full proposal title in the Long Title field.

The Project Title is used to identify and find the project/PAF/proposal in the eResearch Proposal Management (eRPM) system (e.g., in the Home Workspace, Inbox, In Progress, email notifications, etc.).

The Project Title is searchable in the eResearch Proposal Management Data Set of the U-M Data Warehouse, which makes it easier to provide information to sponsors and the university community.
