Overview
On the Ann Arbor campus most locations have 1000 Mbps (1 Gbps) Ethernet connections. Some have 10Mbps and 100 Mbps connections. Upload and download speeds do not often reach the peak theoretical capacity of the network connection. (For example: on a 1000 Mbps connection, normal upload and download speeds will be in the 600-800 Mbps range.) To determine a wired connection speed limit, follow the instructions below.
