Setting a Pool with a New Base Image or Snapshot

See Accessing the Horizon Admin Console to Manage Desktop Pools for information on accessing your MiDesktop resources.

Change the Base Image

1. Log in to Horizon Admin Console.
2. Navigate to Inventory > Desktops > click the applicable pool.
3. Click the Summary tab. Navigate to Maintain > Schedule.

Note: The ‘Schedule Push Image’ window gives you the option to select a different base image and snapshot.

4. Click Change, select the applicable base image and click Submit.

Change the Snapshot

1. Log in to Horizon Admin Console.
2. Navigate to Inventory > Desktops > click the applicable pool.
3. Click the Summary tab. Navigate to Maintain > Schedule.

Note: The ‘Schedule Push Image’ window gives you the option to select a different base image and snapshot.

4. Select the applicable snapshot and click Next.
5. Select the date and time for the push image.
6. Select Wait for users to log off or Force users to log off.
7. Leave the rest at their default values then click Next and click Finish.
