Operator Console Administration Self-Service Tool - University Operators and Campus Information

Background

University Operators and Campus Information staff use the Operator Console Administration Self-Service Tool to maintain a database of departmental listing information.

Access

Access to the Operator Console Administration is controlled by membership in the M-Community Group: [email protected].  Group owners will modify staff access as needed.

Login Procedure

  1. Navigate to the Operator Console Administration page: https://ipvs-ops.miserver.it.umich.edu/OperatorConsoleAdministration/.
  2. Login with your M-Weblogin (SSO) credentials to access the page.

Add a Listing

  1. Choose one of the tabs: Ann Arbor, Hospital, Flint, Dearborn, or Quickdial.
  2. Click Add New Entry button in the upper right of the page.
  3. Add the new listing details and click the Update button. 

Edit a Listing

  1. Choose one of the tabs: Ann Arbor, Hospital, Flint, Dearborn, or Quickdial.
  2. Select the Search button to view all listings or enter a Phone Number and/or Department (example: Biology).
  3. Click the hyper link name of the listing you would like to edit.
  4. Revise the listing details and click the Update button.

Delete a Listing

  1. Choose one of the tabs: Ann Arbor, Hospital, Flint, Dearborn, or Quickdial.
  2. Select the Search button to view all listings or enter a Phone Number and/or Department (example: Biology).
  3. Click the hyper link name of the listing you would like to delete.
  4. Click the Delete button to remove the listing.
