Background
University Operators and Campus Information staff use the Operator Console Administration Self-Service Tool to maintain a database of departmental listing information.
Access
Access to the Operator Console Administration is controlled by membership in the M-Community Group: [email protected]. Group owners will modify staff access as needed.
Login Procedure
- Navigate to the Operator Console Administration page: https://ipvs-ops.miserver.it.umich.edu/OperatorConsoleAdministration/.
- Login with your M-Weblogin (SSO) credentials to access the page.
Add a Listing
- Choose one of the tabs: Ann Arbor, Hospital, Flint, Dearborn, or Quickdial.
- Click Add New Entry button in the upper right of the page.
- Add the new listing details and click the Update button.
Edit a Listing
- Choose one of the tabs: Ann Arbor, Hospital, Flint, Dearborn, or Quickdial.
- Select the Search button to view all listings or enter a Phone Number and/or Department (example: Biology).
- Click the hyper link name of the listing you would like to edit.
- Revise the listing details and click the Update button.
Delete a Listing
- Choose one of the tabs: Ann Arbor, Hospital, Flint, Dearborn, or Quickdial.
- Select the Search button to view all listings or enter a Phone Number and/or Department (example: Biology).
- Click the hyper link name of the listing you would like to delete.
- Click the Delete button to remove the listing.
