iPhones save photos as an HEIC image type by default. Enterprise Health requires image files to be either a .jpg or .png image type. You can convert HEIC files to .jpg or .png using the Shortcuts app. If it is not installed on your phone, download it from the App Store.
- Start the Shortcuts app.
- Tap the Plus sign at the top right of the page to create a new shortcut.
- Search for Select Photos in the search box at the bottom of the screen and tap it in the search results.
- (optional) If you want to be able to select multiple photos for conversion, the arrow next to Select Photos and turn on the Select Multiple toggle.
- Search for and add Convert Image.
- (optional) If you want to save the file as .png instead of the default .jpg, tap JPEG, then tap PNG in the list of file format options.
- Search for and add Save to Photo Album.
- (optional) Tap Recents and choose the album where the converted images should be saved.
- Tap Done to save the shortcut.
- If you want to rename the Shortcut, tap Save to Photo Album at the top of the screen, enter a new name, then tap Done.
Once saved, the shortcut can be run from the main page of the Shortcuts app. To use the shortcut, start the Shortcuts app and tap your new shortcut. Select the HEIC photos you want to convert and tap Add. The converted photos will be in the photo album specified in the shortcut.
