PCA: Installing the PCA VPN Client

Install the Client

Mac

  1. Open the downloaded install file.
    Note: This creates an AnyConnect 4.3.04027 drive on your desktop.
  2. Open AnyConnect 4.3.04027.
  3. Launch AnyConnect.pkg.
  4. Open the Cisco folder in Applications. 
  5. Launch Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client.
  6. Select UM-PCA from the drop-down list.
  7. Log in with your P-elevated account.
    Important: Do not include a preceding umroot\.

Windows

  1. Open the downloaded install file.
    Note: This creates a UM-PCA.exe or UM-PCA-X.exe file in your downloads folder.
  2. Open UM-PCA.exe or UM-PCA-X.exe.
  3. Click Next.
  4. Select I accept the terms in the License Agreement and click Next.
  5. Click Install, Yes, and then Finish.
  6. Launch Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client from the Start menu.
  7. Log in with your P-elevated account.
