Create a new Developer Organization and Assign an Owner

Overview

This document outlines the procedure for creating a new Developer Organization and assigning owners. Only the users having the role of Administrators and Security Admins are able to create new Developer Organizations.

Pre-requisites

Before going into the product and granting the access, ensure the Service Link flow for the Join a Provider Org is completed. Once the API Directory / Service Management team approves the task in the workflow, Access and Accounts will get a task for granting the access.

Step-by-Step Procedure

  1. Log in to the API Manager using your UMICH credentials.
  2. Click Navigate to...

  3. Click Dashboard.

  4. Click Production Catalog.

  5. Click the Community tab.
  6. Click Add.
  7. Enter the Developer Organization name and the owner Email address.

  8. Click Add.
  9. Verify that the email address and the new Developer Organization name appear in the list.
