The following resources are for unit telephone administrators or technical experts to use when adding or transferring to Zoom phone desksets or conference room phones.
Switch
It is recommended that the closet switch support IEEE Power over Ethernet standard 802.3 (af or at)

Ensures phones do not need local power.

Phones are protected from power outages due to closet switches having Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS). Note: Not all phones are connected with UPS.
Ethernet Port
Office computers and Zoom Phone desksets or conference phones generally can share a data line without additional configuration.
The Polycom Deskset VVX250 will support data and voice.
Network
Zoom phones connected to an ITS controlled VLAN will need to acquire configuration settings from the ITS DHCP server.
Unit Firewalls
ITS VLAN voice traffic will not pass through unit firewalls.

No configuration change is needed on unit firewalls for hardwired Zoom Phone desksets.
