WiFi: Configure Mac OS Device

Requirements

  • A University of Michigan uniqname and UMICH password
  • A campus-compatible WiFi device
  • A location where WiFi is available

Instructions

  1. Verify WiFi is On.
  2. Select WiFi in the upper right corner of the menu bar of your device screen.
  3. Select MWireless or eduroam.
  4. Enter your U-M email address in the Username field.
  5. Enter your UMICH password in the Password field.
  6. Select Join.
  7. When the Certificate page appears, click Continue.

Your login information is now stored on the computer. In the future, that information will be used to automatically connect the computer to the WiFi network.
