Telephone: Centrex Features and Dialing Instructions

Overview

This document reviews information and features for Centrex phones.

Voice Messages on Centrex Phones

The Message Waiting Indicator feature is not available on Centrex phones, however a feature is available that forwards voice messages to an email mailbox as soon as a message is left. To subscribe to this feature, contact a Telecommunications Analyst for assistance. In addition, a user can set up a voice mail rule in Outlook Web Access to forward messages to a personal or group email account.

See Creating Exchange Voicemail Rules & Changing Features.
