Accessing the MiDesktop Jump Server

You must be located on a U-M network or connected to U-M VPN to access the server on RDP protocol. In addition, you must use a MiDesktop jump account to RDP into the jump server. Once a MiDesktop jump account is created, it is monitored for inactivity as a safety precaution and disabled after 65 days of inactivity.

1. Open Remote Desktop Connection to vdi-jmppra01.adsroot.itcs.umich.edu​
2. Log in with midesktop-uniqname. If you do not have a MiDesktop jump account, or your account has been disabled due to inactivity, please email [email protected] to request an account or to enable it. Please note, accounts are only created for MiDesktop customers.
3. This account is only used for RDP access into the MiDesktop jump server.
